AWC now powered by Glacier FarmMedia

After six years and 12 Advancing Women in Agriculture Conferences, we took a major step recently by forming a partnership with Glacier FarmMedia (GFM). Read the full media release here.

We are delighted to be joining the Glacier FarmMedia family, Canada’s source for print and online farm news and information and a provider of events that connect farm audiences. We feel that this collaboration will expand the reach of the Advancing Women events, products and services and help us bring more resources and initiatives to our growing Advancing Women community.

Our Advancing Women in Agriculture team remains the same, with Iris Meck at the helm working with our established network of women entrepreneurs who have helped us build this business over the last six years. We look forward to expanding our dedicated team with the talents of Glacier FarmMedia staff as we continue to create bigger and better opportunities for women in agriculture across Canada.

“Over the years, we have welcomed and inspired over 5,000 women across Canada through our AWC events,” says Iris Meck, AWC founder and Glacier FarmMedia’s new Director of Conferences. “As we begin this new chapter, with the power and resources of the Glacier FarmMedia family, our Advancing Women Conferences will continue to provide a strong and growing suite of agriculture-related events, features and timely information that is focused on women in all sectors of agriculture.”

Based on the information available to date and the fact that our conference dates are still months away, planning is moving ahead for future Advancing Women Conferences. Of course, plans are subject to change, and we will use information provided by Public Health Canada to adjust as necessary. We commit to updating all of you as we learn more, especially as we move closer to any of our events.
